Adi is a member of First Avenue’s investments team, where he helps develop our private markets investment strategy, sources and evaluates investment opportunities, and partners with operators to drive value-creation activities post-investment.
With over 10 years of experience in private equity and investment banking across the investment lifecycle, Adi has cultivated a strategic approach to investing in multiple sectors. He joins us from a lower mid-market buyout private equity fund, where he was a Vice President and partnered with companies in the healthcare, business services, pet-focused CPG, and marketing sectors. Adi began his career in Mumbai, India, in investment banking and venture capital, before relocating to Toronto, where he worked in Scotiabank’s private equity team and partnered with companies across various sectors.
Adi holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, and Chartered Business Valuator.
Outside of work, Adi enjoys exploring nature by camping with his wife and their dog and follows Formula One and cricket.
